The purpose is it may support healthy joints, cartilage, and pain. Green lipped mussel contains a reliable source of chondroitin sulfate, which is a naturally occurring element of animal connective tissue and joint structure. It contains complex proteins, amino acids, Omega- 3 & 6 fatty acids, selenium, chelated minerals, and concentrated GAG (glycosaminoglycans), which helps to lubricate joints and support connective tissue, to name just a few health benefits. It may help with hip and joint support, is an anti-inflammatory, and helps with pain relief, especially for hip dysplasia. Ginger root may provide anti-inflammatory properties and may help to soothe the digestive system. It contains turmeric root, which may help with inflammation and antioxidants. We packaged it in a recyclable jar with a small scoop for easy serving.
